  Assesments
Social accountability auditing has been the core focus of ALGI's founders since 1989. In 1994, the company was founded as a private firm to service a broad clientele in a global market. Our expertise and know how has expanded to cover components ranging from environmental issues to security evaluations at all levels of the supply chain.

In keeping with the guidelines and recommendations from international labor ratifications with the ILO, Human Rights Advocacy, labor regulations bodies and code of conducts, ALGI has formed a comprehensive and efficient on-site assessment that combined with training and implementation of management systems achieves long-term compliance.

ALGI believes that social assessments should be a process that permits any organization to evaluate, measure and control its efficiency of social, environmental and security practices. The resulting information will be valuable to themselves and their network, with an end product of institutional improvement.

Auditing is based on numerous principles which result in an effective and reliable tool of support for management policies and controls. The assessment provides information on which an organization can act to improve its performance. Adherence to these principles is a prerequisite for reliable audit conclusions that are relevant and sufficient and for enabling auditors to conduct assessments in a systematic format.

• Ethical Conduct as the foundation of professional behavior relying on trust, integrity, confidentiality and discretion as essential components of auditing.
• Fair presentation as an obligation to report truthfully and accurately.
• Due professional diligence and judgment in the auditing process.
• Independence for the basis of impartiality of the audit and objectivity of the audit conclusion.
• Evidence-based approach as the rational method of reaching audit conclusions through a systematic process.
