Our philosophy and experience dictates that pure monitoring and enforcing of laws with supply chain may not be enough to maintain long term accountability and transparency. The workers active participation, and enduring commitment and vision from the side of the employer, are the new callings to promote the social responsibility that will maintain the balance with economical success in the new global economy.

ALGI’s management systems initiative aims to reach an internal commitment with the manufacturer, to self monitor and improve their compliance of social, environmental and ethical standards. As part of our services, we provide the tools to formalize this commitment and translate it into practical programs. At top management levels, we can assure that all leaders are knowledgeable and involved in the company’s policy for social accountability and labor conditions. At middle management levels, we provide the training and instruments that account for every element of compliance in the form of “checklists”, formal systematic documentation of procedures and record of good practices. This includes every aspect of local labor codes, international treaties, human rights and health and safety standards. The workers are educated about their rights and are encouraged to actively participate in committees and gathering information that leads to continual improvement for themselves and their employer.
