provides confidential and personalized service; protecting
our client’s interests by evaluating the social accountability
practices of their partners.
In order to safeguard the confidentiality of information
gathered during the assessment and certification processes,
ALGI requires all personnel to sign the ALGI Standard
Secrecy/Confidentiality/Impartiality Agreement. Access
to sensitive information is provided to employees on a
need-to-know basis only, to legal authorities -where required
by law- and to accreditation bodies, to the extent that
such information is required under the accreditation contract.
Information gathered during the assessment and certification
processes are confidential and will not be disclosed to
a third party without the written consent of the client
and other parties potentially concerned with or affected
by such disclosure. ALGI members maintain a strict policy
of no tolerance of improper conduct such as offers of
bribes, gifts, gratuities or requests to falsify any document.
