Partnerships

One of the means we utilize towards our goal of social compliance achievement is membership in various trade and professional organizations. Vendors that are in compliance with the parameters of these organizations open new pathways for themselves in terms of increased acceptance by retailers, manufacturers and the public as socially responsible employers.

In order to achieve affiliation with these groups, ALGI must demonstrate proficiency in the knowledge of treaties, laws, techniques and their applications. We are proud to be members of these organizations.

FLA - The Fair Labor Association is a non-profit organization established to protect the rights of workers in the United States and worldwide. The FLA grew out of the Apparel Industry Partnership, a diverse group of manufacturers, consumer groups, labor and human rights organizations and US universities, brought together by the White House in August 1996 to address labor rights standards. ALGI has been accredited to do audits in the USA, a number of countries in Latin America and China.

WRAP – Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production (WRAP) is an independent non-profit corporation, dedicated to the promotion and certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. ALGI is pleased to be accredited to conduct WRAP assessments in over 50 countries around the globe.

SAI – Social Accountability International (SAI) is a U.S.-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to the development, implementation and oversight of voluntary verifiable social accountability standards. ALGI is proud to be accredited by SAI as a global certifying body (CB). ALGI can globally conduct assessments verifying compliance with SA8000 standards.

BSCI – Business Social Compliance Initiative. ALGI is certified by BSCI to conduct assessments for their members in the European retail sector.
