ALGI Auditors

ALGI ensures that all trainee auditors, support and lead auditors as well as audit reviewers are provided with the resources to maintain their knowledge of existing requirements as specified in our Management System, ILO Conventions and environmental standards.

ALGI’s scheme specific internal training to audit and non-audit personnel supplements work experience.  We make sure that all personnel involved in conducting and/or supervising the assessment processes:

• Continually meet the requirements of yearly training as per our management system and ISO 17021 standards.  The requirements for auditors and lead auditors are a minimum of 12 hours of internal training.
  
  
• Have access to our internal database that will familiarize them with national laws, relevant standards and regulations.
  
  
• Have been trained and assessed to meet the SA8000, WRAP, IRCA, SEDEX, FLA and ISO 9001 requirements for auditors and lead auditors. Records of qualifications, experience, training and assessment are maintained.
